Opendesk is platform for furniture on the principles of Open Making. Designs are distributed through the website and can be produced by any local maker. The advantage is that all storage and shipping cost can be eliminated.

The idea was to create a friendly and accessible identity that invites furniture designers, makers and the customer itself to collaborate. It had to be simple and flexible to work on the furniture itself as well as on print and digital applications. To reference the company name and their pilot product – the pictogram of a desk functions as a symbol. Both logotype and symbol can be used independently to build a modular and flexible identity system in conjunction with different colours and materials.
